Core Values
1. Equitable Access
I believe that all children—regardless of their ability to speak—deserve access to effective communication. By providing American Sign Language resources and tools, I will help to remove barriers that often leave nonspeaking and Deaf children unheard.
2. Respect for All Forms of Communication
I recognize that communication looks different for everyone. Whether it’s through sign language, gestures, devices, or behavior, I affirm and support each individual’s right to be heard and understood with dignity and respect.
3. Empowerment Through Education
I will help to provide families, interpreters, and communities with the knowledge and skills needed to support meaningful communication. By building confidence and independence, I help individuals thrive—in the classroom, at home, and in public life.
4. Advocacy That Creates Change
I work alongside families and leaders to champion policies and practices that support communication equity. My advocacy focuses on long-term solutions—such as inclusive education, support groups, and expanded access to ASL for all nonspeaking individuals.
5. Connection That Strengthens Society
Strong communities are built on understanding. I help to foster connections between people, services, and systems—bridging gaps in communication to promote empathy, cooperation, and lasting change.
